The Everything ABC's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter R. This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their R element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy

If you came from Wendy Kessler's Blog  then you're on the right track!

I chose Red, Ribbon and Roses for my "R". This is my first time with this blog hop and it is quite fun. I made the box and the roses from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Sm rose was cut at 1" and the larger was at 2"

This is a magnolia stamp, i rarely ever use stamps that are not CTMH but this one fitted it quite nicely and well my mom bought it for me, she is so cute!! Using a rubber stamp is so different then what i am used to. If you have any tips, please post them in the comments section.

Copic markers were used to color her in and i used pearls for embellishments. Im going to fill her up with some goodies and send her off to friend. Thanks for looking!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Melissa Hegwood's blog

Gorgeous gift box! Love your coloring on the stamped image too. Thank you for saying what size you cut the roses out with! I've found that rubber stamps don't act that much differently than acrylic stamps, you still get a better impression if you use a foam pad or shim underneath and when coloring with Copic markers, I always use Tuxedo Black Momento ink pad.

Than you Linda!! Elise, thank you. I always use memento ink for all my coloring and well most of my black too. I love how they don't stain my stamps like some of the other black inks i have used before. I do use the foam that comes with CTMH stamps for coloring but i have not with coloring before. Thanks for the tip..i will have to try it out.
