This is my super fun hat! I used a paper mache hat and covered it right up with Scaredy Cat paper pack and i used Art Philosophy and Artiste and a little Artbooking Cricut Cartridges. I love love glitter so i added a little bright green. I used the crimping tool to fit some of the paper around the cone. It was a great little trick.

I will have more instruction added here later today. Stay Tuned!!!

Your next stop is Janet McCormick's Blog.
Thanks for joining us this month and come back next month to see what crafty projects we can bring to you! Thank you for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment.

Guest Poster! Chelsey Vorosmarty

Happy Monday! Today I am super duper excited to open up my blog to a guest poster. From projects to organizing and tips. You will find it all right here. I am so proud to have my first guest poster to be Chelesy. This outstanding Sister consultant is incredible at everything she creates and teaches. Chelsey has been crafting up a storm in Alberta and has created very unique projects and her classes are not to be missed....

Hello everyone, I'm so excited that Chantal asked me to share on her blog today. My name is Chelsey Vorosmarty and I run Personal Touch Scrapbooking. I'm also a fellow Close to my Heart consultant, so today I'm going to share a very exciting new product.

You may have seen or heard CTMH has a new Cricut cartridge that just became available called Artfully Sent. This cartridge contains 700 images which include 250 completed cards in a variety of styles (pop up, build a scene, sentiment/border, sleeve and pocket cards), envelopes/liners and a beautiful alphabet. If that wasn't enough the collection also includes 3 versatile stamp sets including an alphabet set that matches the new Cricut font, a sentiment set (LOVE this one) and some cute frames. To get you started cutting some cards there is also a full pack of White Daisy cardstock.

Of course you can always use the sentiments and images on the cartridge for any of your projects whether they are cards or not. The pocket cards work great for Picture My Life and Project Life style scrapping or they can be incorporated into traditional style pages and mini albums. However, everything is linked in the cartridge to create cards so if you want to cut something at a specific size that doesn't coordinate with the card, make sure to turn on the real dial size function.

Here are a few of the cards I have created with the new cartridge:

4

With a little bit of paper and a few minutes you can create stunning cards for any occasion. Many of the cards are 5”x7” or 4.25”x 5.5” so they are easy sizes to find envelopes for if you prefer not to cut your own on the Cricut.

It has been a few months since i have been a part of the Cross Canada Hop. This was not one to miss, i  have to be honest and say there was NO way i was able to narrow it down to 1 favorite but i was able to combine them in to one super duper cute card!! Not sure who it is going to quite yet. Lets take a tour of the card's recipe!

The card is a standard A2 size (meaning 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") I always end up making this size, maybe because i love it? it is cute!!

Recipe:
Lagoon Hearts (backgound) - Stinking cute and NEW!
Shimmer trim - everything needs a little shimmer
Cardstock - Thistle (EEK!!) NEW
                 - Whisper
                 - White Daisy
Sequins - The sliver assortment (lovely) NEW
ATG Gun
Foam tape
Sweet as Sugar stamp set - Hostess reward only and just one of my favorite. Yep it's NEW
Post it notes (for masking)
The inks: Take a bathroom break, there is a few to share. hehe
Black Memento Ink
Thistle stamp pad
Cranberry stamp pad
Glacier stamp pad
Pixie stamp pad
Canary stamp pad
and last but well used is Chocolate stamp pad.
I also used a light blue copic marker to highlight the glass jars.

This is a HUGE close up of the masking and the cute candy. I really love this technique. It will make your old or new stamp sets come alive!

Disclaimer - The colors on this card are brighter then what is shown.. I may have had a little lighting problem this week.

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter R. This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their R element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy

If you came from Wendy Kessler's Blog  then you're on the right track!

I chose Red, Ribbon and Roses for my "R". This is my first time with this blog hop and it is quite fun. I made the box and the roses from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge, Sm rose was cut at 1" and the larger was at 2"

This is a magnolia stamp, i rarely ever use stamps that are not CTMH but this one fitted it quite nicely and well my mom bought it for me, she is so cute!! Using a rubber stamp is so different then what i am used to. If you have any tips, please post them in the comments section.

Copic markers were used to color her in and i used pearls for embellishments. Im going to fill her up with some goodies and send her off to friend. Thanks for looking!
